Chemical Injection Grouting

Chemical grouting is the process of below grade waterproofing from the negative side (Inside) of a structure to the positive side (Outside). This type of waterproofing can be many times more cost effective than traditional systems which require the excavation of the fill around a structure which may include sidewalks, landscaping and adjoining structures above grade to access the positive side of a below grade wall.

The process is drilling small holes through the area to be waterproofed and injecting a chemical grout under pressure to fill the voids and cracks in the back side of the wall without any disturbance to the areas around the building. The grout is a liquid and reacts with the water in the soil and when forced under pressure builds a waterproof “Curtain” on the back side of the problem area.

The same process can be used for active leaks, cracks and full wall treatment and the material can be specifically tailored to the site depending on ground movement and varying site conditions.
